Get to know me

Hello, nice to meet you!

As the website says, my name is Luccas De Capra. I am from of Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. Where I was born and raised.

My intention is to write more about subjects related to fashion, photography and even a bit about myself.

My life in photography started in mid-2009. at the age of 25 my cousin Mari asked me to go in a casting of models. since my entire family said that I ‘‘got some skills ’’. I confess that I had no intention at showin up. For countless factors: FIRST, I didn’t feel everything that was said about me. SECOND I had no involvement with the fashion market, not even by far. For example: I had only one pair of jeans in my wardrobe. where I wore very little.

However, something told me that I should try. My personality has always been strong. I felt that it could be interesting. In the worst case it would lead me to learn something new and never explored before. On the day of the first casting I was very nervous because since I had decided to participate, I was going all-in. Now I wanted to go to the end.

At the casting I was introduced to two very well educated people, who I consider my friends and they are the main reason for me being where I am today. Fabiano and Matheus, thank you. The agency’s owners at the time. I ended up being selected for a photo session with a very cool photographer. While in the shooting he made me feel very comfortable. On that time I had no idea what I was doing. While I was moving he encouraged me to continue that it was great.

As consequences of this section of photos, I ended up taking 2 more and went to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro where I participated in another casting process. Although with bigger agencies this time.
This was happening during my university, I was studying at night and worked during the day in a Physical Conditioning Center.

As a result the trip was in mid of October. In summary the next year I was moving to São Paulo, where I would start a new life, full of challenges. As a matter of fact I didn’t even know.
