What does modeling life teach?

Good times that yielded great memories and many friends for life. It is a city where everything works, except the traffic.

When it comes to fashion, I have always seen the city as a springboard. The impression is that I was there as an intern and, at the end of the process, I would be chosen, or not.

All these changes motivated me, but I was uncertain if something bigger would come.
My move was full of expectations. Many things happened at the same time. Both my personal and professional life went in opposite directions and Uncertainty took over my head for a long time.
The worst pressures are our own. I say this because I wanted to do more than I was already doing.

“Working in São Paulo as a model was not easy. The market is demanding AND competitive – and for a “NEW FACE” that has just arrived, even more difficult. I confess that I didn’t do 10% of what I could. The reasons may have been MANY, but at this point, they become irrelevant.
I think the distorted view that many people have of fashion is incredible because they think that everything is glamorous, easy and futile at the same time.
However, what many are unaware of is that, in order to live and pay the bills when you are not working as a model, there are events. Yes, events: waiter, barman, receptionist, serving ice cream at a children’s party and even coming out of a cake at a 15-year-old party is worth it. Look at the glamor there! “🙋🏻‍♂️

At a certain point, I realized that to have opportunities I needed to create them, I needed to do something to improve. At this stage, I even thought about giving up and going back to my city, but not before giving my last card.

I went after photographers to improve my portfolio. Some photographers do it for free, others don’t, it depends a lot. And yes, if you want to grow, you need to invest in yourself. You are your own brand, remember that.
In the end, I got very good material and, consequently, a proposal to work in China. This still in 2010.

It is difficult to write the feeling of receiving a proposal from China. However, with my face and courage, there I was again leaving the comfort zone, challenging myself and embarking for the next journey.
Throughout life and career, things change and it is only up to us to understand the situations and adapt.
